Priced from the low-$800,000 range, Monticello homes provide ridgetop views and are adjacent to the 15th and 18th fairways of Catta Verdera Golf Club.

To reach Monticello at Twelve Bridges from Sacramento, take Interstate 80 east to Highway 65. From Highway 65, exit right on Twelve Bridges Drive, continue to the top of the hill, turn right on Catta Verdera and left on Ladera Drive.

The community is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.

La Cima

Also in a foothill setting, La Cima in El Dorado Hills offers opportunity in the heart of the Serrano master-planned community.

Six one-and two-story plans offer as much as 3,577 square feet of living space. Prices start in the mid-$500,000 range.
