Twelve Bridges information
center gets new digs in Lincoln
Published 2:15 am PST Saturday, November 20, 2004
The Twelve Bridges information center at 2130 Colonnade
Drive in Lincoln will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The center moved from its previous site across the street
to make way for construction to begin on a high school and
city library. The high school is planned to open in fall 2007.
Master-planned Twelve Bridges was developed to complement
the natural appearance of south Placer County and provide
a balanced community for residents. The community has devoted
about half of its 3,000 acres to open space with wetlands,
parks and greenbelts.
Twelve Bridges Elementary School serves kindergarten through
fifth-grade students and can accommodate as many as 600 students.
A joint-use agreement will allow the school to use an adjacent
5-acre park site and its multiuse fields.
The new school reflects the community's commitment to nature
with thematic landscaping throughout its campus. Multiple
orchards, an arboretum and courtyards filled with raised planter
beds will all be used for the teaching opportunities nature
provides.
Twelve Bridges offers an array of homes suited for first-time,
move-up, executive and empty-nest buyers. Home prices start
in the $500,000 range, and sizes range from 2,062 square feet
to 5,900 square feet. Builders in the community are Centex
Homes, JTS Communities, Meritage Homes, Parkland Homes and
Richmond American Homes. Pulte Homes plans to start building
at Twelve Bridges soon.
In addition, a custom-home community, Verdera, features 1/2-acre
to 2-acre custom home sites around Catta Verdera Country Club.
The community is east of Highway 65 at the Twelve Bridges
Drive exit. |
